Run a buy one get one free sale for our subscribers or new subscribers signing up

🔍 Problem Statement

Pelcro does not support buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) promotional offers. Publishers who want to run BOGO campaigns must create manual workarounds with coupons or complimentary subscriptions, which are error-prone and hard to track.

💡 User Story

As a Pelcro admin, I want to create BOGO (buy-one-get-one-free) promotions, so that I can offer subscribers a free subscription when they purchase one — trackable as a single promotional campaign.

🎯 Definition of Done (DoD)

A feature is done when:

✔️ Given a BOGO promotion configured for a product, when a subscriber purchases a qualifying subscription, then a second subscription (same or different plan) is automatically created at no charge — and both are linked to the promotion for reporting.
