Enable Sign in with Apple as a Social Login Option

🔍 Problem Statement

Pelcro does not support Sign in with Apple as a social login option. Apple device users who prefer Apple ID authentication must use email/password or another social login, which reduces conversion on Apple-dominant audiences.

💡 User Story

As a subscriber on an Apple device, I want to sign in with Apple, so that I can create an account or log in with a single tap using my Apple ID.

🎯 Definition of Done (DoD)

A feature is done when:

✔️ Given the Pelcro login/registration form, when a user clicks 'Sign in with Apple', then they are authenticated via Apple's OAuth flow and their account is created or linked — matching the behaviour of existing social login options.

    Support Apple Pay for Vantiv

    Problem Statement

    Currently, Pelcro does not support configuring Apple Pay for clients using the Vantiv payment gateway. Clients have no way to upload the required Apple Pay certificates and configuration files through the platform, requiring manual setup and preventing self-service setup.

    User Story

    As a Pelcro administrator, I want to configure Apple Pay for my Vantiv payment gateway by uploading the required Apple Pay certificates and configuration files so that I can enable Apple Pay for my customers directly from the Pelcro platform.

    Definition of Done (DoD)

    • Add an Apple Pay configuration section within the Vantiv payment gateway settings.

    • Allow administrators to upload the required Apple Pay certificates and configuration files.

    • Validate required fields and uploaded files before saving.

    • Securely store the uploaded certificates.

    • Use the uploaded configuration when processing Apple Pay transactions through Vantiv.

    • Display the Apple Pay configuration status (Configured / Not Configured).

    Enable Apple Pay via Braintree

    🔍 Problem Statement

    Many businesses use Braintree as their preferred payment processor. The absence of Apple Pay support via Braintree limits the platform’s payment flexibility and can lead to friction in the checkout experience, especially for Safari and iOS users.

    💡 User Story

    As a business owner using Braintree as a payment gateway,
    I want my customers to have the option to pay using Apple Pay,
    so that they can complete purchases quickly and securely on iOS devices and Safari.

    🎯 Definition of Done (DoD)

    • Required Apple Pay merchant ID and payment processing certificate are registered in the Apple Developer account and linked to the Braintree account.

    • Apple Pay button appears conditionally based on device/browser compatibility (Safari + Apple device) and active Braintree configuration.

    • Both subscription creation and one-time payments work seamlessly with Braintree using Apple Pay.

    • Braintree JavaScript SDK is integrated to tokenize Apple Pay payment methods.

    • Payment method nonce is successfully generated and passed to the backend.

    • Backend uses the nonce to create a Braintree transaction or associate the payment method with a customer.
